News and Media Coverage:

2010 - We're taking a much needed break in 2010 - 1st year in nearly 20, that the haunt will not be constructed, but with 2 small kids, a crappy economy, and un-modivated helpers, a break is necessary.

October 2008: A couple more news vans came by today :)

January 2008: We were just informed that we will be receiving an Award from the Mayor of Mountain View (Tom Means) for providing an asset to the community.

October 31st 2007: We just arrived back from New York where we were announced the winner's of FearNet.com's "America's Scariest Home Haunt" live on NBC's "Today Show" - We were flown 1st class to New York City, put up at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel, limo service around the city, and then had the wonderful experience of post production TV preparation and the presentation of $50,000 live on national television. It was awesome! (not as much for Kasey as two 6hr plane trips within 36hrs while being 7months pregnant was rough, but she's a champ and 50K helped with the comfort level).

The newest coverage was recently featured on Fearnet.com as one of the top home haunts in the US. They use a bunch of our props in their advertisements, so we're pretty flattered to have been chosen and our work shown off.

We received some very exciting news in September by the producers of HGTV's hit show "What's with that house"
requesting info on the DC Cemetery for a potential spot on their October special "What's with that Haunted House"

After a couple pictures and questionnaires, we got the spot! They will be shooting the DC Cemetery on Wednesday October 25th throughout the day with possible crowd interviews between 7-10pm.

Post Interview news:

Filming and interviews went great, the host of "What's with that house" George Gray was dressed as expired bologna which was "a bit" out of character for our haunt, but he's an awesome guy and hopefully with some serious editing we'll all look like we know what were doing : ). The film crew and supporting crew were also extremely nice and although the shoot ran till 1:30am (sorry neighbors) it was a fun experience.
